The Hebrew Channel (12) reported, on Sunday, that border demarcation agreement Between Lebanon and Israel, it will include an Israeli concession of a section within the sea, in exchange for a Lebanese concession of an area closer to the coast.

The Lebanese authorities did not issue any immediate comment on what was reported by the channel, which stated that “the Israeli security establishment is afraid of provoking (the Lebanese Hezbollah group) prior to the signing of the maritime agreement between Israel and Lebanon.”

The channel reported, “The details of the emerging agreement will include Israel’s abandoning a specific area in the deep sea, in exchange for Lebanon’s ceding an area closer to the coast.”

“Until the expected signing date next week, the region will remain on high security alert,” she said.
