Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the Ukrainian intelligence planned and carried out the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, and that the attack targeted a sensitive site in the Russian infrastructure.
“There is no doubt that it was a terrorist attack aimed at destroying a sensitive site in the Russian infrastructure,” Putin said at a meeting with the head of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin.
“Are the planners, executors and agents affiliated with the Ukrainian intelligence?” Putin asked.
Bastrykin replied that citizens of Russia and foreign countries helped Ukrainian intelligence prepare for the attack.
Bastrykin added that the Russian Federal Security Service determined the identity of the masterminds of the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge, and the destination of the truck that was used in the bombing, as it left from Bulgaria, from there to Georgia, and then to Armenia, before reaching North Ossetia in Russia, and continued its path towards the territory of the Russian Federation.
