The body of the deceased householder in Saudi Arabia is delayed

Travancore (Kottayam) ∙ The body of the householder who died in Saudi Arabia is delayed in being brought home. The family members, including their son who is preparing for the 10th class exam, are waiting anxiously. Relatives received information that Thandaseri Cherukunnel CT Sudevanu (50) died on the 29th last at his work place in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Despite contacting various agencies, the further steps to bring the dead body home were delayed. An intervention has been made from the office of Union Minister V. Muralidharan. Sudev was an employee of a crusher in Dammam.

He came to sleep following work and was found dead the next day. Proceedings were delayed due to unnatural death. Death is believed to be due to chest pain. The relatives received the information that the body was shifted to the hospital. Although contacted through various organizations, positive steps to bring the dead body to the country were delayed.

When we contacted the sponsor, we got information that the issue of salary related transactions has not been resolved from the side of the owner. Sudev, who has been looking for work in Saudi for 10 years, came to the country last March.

His wife Deepa, sons Abhijit, Anujit and Advait are spending days in grief over Sudev’s death. Abhijit and Anujith are degree students.

Advait is starting 10th class model exam on 27th. When contacted yesterday, his wife Deepa said that he got a reply that action would be taken to deliver it immediately.
