Legendary band drummer, Koesnomo bin Koeswoyo or Nomo Koeswoyo passed away on Wednesday (15/3/2023) in Magelang. The body is planned to be buried at Jeruk Purut TPU, South Jakarta, today.
According to detikcom’s monitoring, Koesnomo bin Koeswoyo’s body had just arrived at the funeral home in the Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta at 09.24 WIB taken by an ambulance.
The atmosphere at the funeral home Koesnomo bin Koeswoyo seen being guarded by dozens of Task Forces (Task Forces) from the PDI Perjuangan wearing black official clothes and red berets.
The task force closely guarded the residence of Koeswono bin Koeswoyo. In fact, the guard was seen from the alley before entering the Koes Bersaudara drummer’s house.
At his residence, rows of flower arrangements were seen neatly arranged in the courtyard of the late Koesnomo bin Koeswoyo’s house.
The majority of the wreaths given came from the PDI Perjuangan party. In fact, the Chairperson of the PDI Perjuangan, Megawati Soekarnoputri, also gave a wreath as a form of condolence.
Nomo Koeswoyo died in Magelang, Central Java at 19.30 WIB on Wednesday (15/3/2023). The sad news is known from a chain message via WhatsApp of the Nomo Koeswoyo family.
“Our father, our dear, Koesnomo Koeswoyo Bin Koeswoyo has passed away on Wednesday, 15 March 2023, at 19.30 WIB in Magelang,” wrote the message.
The drummer for the Koes Plus band died at the age of 85.
It is planned that Nomo Koeswoyo’s body will be laid to rest at the Lebak Bulus funeral home, South Jakarta and buried at the Jeruk Purut Public Cemetery (TPU).
“Buried at Jeruk Purut TPU,” continued the message.
