The Indian audience was shocked following the Indian actress Sahana, known for the movie “Lock Down”, committed suicide in her apartment on her 21st birthday.
The police found Shahana’s body hanging on the window railing in her house, and immediately detained her husband, “Sajjad”, following the late woman’s family claimed that he was the one who killed her following a series of quarrels between them.
The mother of the deceased said that her son-in-law did not allow Sahana to see them, invite them to her home, or contact them, in addition to being subjected to domestic violence by him.
On the other hand, the couple’s neighbor told Media One that he heard Sajjad screaming for help, saying that he found Sahana dead, but according to an Indian media, it was reported that the couple had a fight over checks that the late actress received from a model before her death.
The police are investigating the case following obtaining information regarding the frequent quarrels and quarrels between the spouses.
