The Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue unanimously selects 44 candidates for the axes

Today, Saturday, the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue held its sixth meeting, at the headquarters of the National Training Academy; To complete the discussion and review of the names of the rapporteurs of the subcommittees and the assistant rapporteurs of those committees, and to consider the three main axes (political, economic, and societal), within the framework of the preparatory sessions that began since President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, launched the National Dialogue Initiative within the framework of effective national participation, and in preparation To start the actual sessions of the dialogue in order to reach outcomes that benefit the Egyptian citizen.

The Board of Trustees ended dividing the political axis into five committees, where it was agreed to add two committees, namely (a committee specialized in political parties, and a specialized committee for trade unions and civil society), in addition to the three previously approved committees (the committee for the exercise of political rights and parliamentary representation, and the localities committee). and the Commission on Human Rights and Public Freedoms).

The Council also settled on adding a (Youth Committee) to the committees of the community axis, in addition to a committee specialized in (tourism) to the committees of the economic axis.

During the meeting, Dia Rashwan, General Coordinator of the National Dialogue, reviewed the nominations of the various parties that were received by the Technical Secretariat of the National Dialogue, which numbered 550 candidates, on the names of the rapporteurs and assistant rapporteurs for the three main axes (political, economic and societal), through discussion and review Biographies of the candidates in light of specializations, nominations and political affiliations.

The council has agreed on 12 candidates for the political axis and its committees, so that Dr. Ali El-Din Hilal (general rapporteur) and Dr. Mustafa Kamel El-Sayed (Assistant General Rapporteur) for the axis.

It was also agreed on the candidates of the sub-committees of the axis, so that the committee (initiating political rights and parliamentary representation) includes Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Ghani as rapporteur, and Prof. Mohamed Shawky Abdel-Aal as assistant rapporteur. The (Localities Committee) also includes Prof. Samir Abdel Wahab, rapporteur, and Prof. Alaa Essam, assistant rapporteur. The Committee on Human Rights and Public Freedoms included Prof. Nevin Massad to serve as rapporteur and a. Ahmed Ragheb, assistant rapporteur. The (Political Parties Committee) includes Prof. Ihab Al-Tamawi as rapporteur, and Prof. Khaled Daoud as assistant rapporteur. The (Committee on Trade Unions and Civil Society) includes Prof. Ahmed Al-Borai as rapporteur, and Prof. Magdy El-Badawy as assistant rapporteur.

The council also settled on 18 candidates for the economic axis and its committees, so that each of Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Galal, General Rapporteur, and Dr. Abdel-Fattah Al-Jabali, Assistant General Rapporteur.

It was also agreed on the candidates of the sub-committees of the axis, which includes (the Committee on Inflation and High Prices), each of Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed Suleiman, rapporteur, Dr. Sherif Kassem, assistant rapporteur. The Committee (Public Debt, Budget Deficit, and Financial Reform) includes Dr. Talaat Khalil as a rapporteur, and Dr. Heba Wasel as an assistant rapporteur. The Committee (Public Investments Priorities and State Ownership Policy) includes Dr. Ayman Mohsab as rapporteur, and MP Mahmoud Sami as assistant rapporteur. The (private investment (domestic and foreign) committee includes Dr. Samir Sabri Muhammad Amin as rapporteur, and A. Bassem Lotfy as assistant rapporteur. The (industry) committee includes Dr. Baha Dimitri as rapporteur, and Mr. Ahmed Bahaa Shalaby as assistant rapporteur. Agriculture and Food Security), Mr. Hisham Salah Al-Hosry, rapporteur, and Mr. Abdul Ghani Hindi, assistant rapporteur, and the (Social Justice) committee includes Dr. Abdul-Hadi Al-Qasabi, rapporteur, and Dr. Soraya Abdel-Gawad, assistant rapporteur, and the (tourism) committee includes Dr. Amani Al-Torjoman as rapporteur, and Dr. Nora Ali Abdel-Sami as assistant rapporteur.

With regard to the societal axis, the council approved 14 candidates, with Eng. Khaled Abdelaziz as general rapporteur, and Dr. Hania El Shalkami, Assistant General Rapporteur.

It was also agreed on the candidates of the sub-committees for the axis, so that the (Education and Scientific Research) committee includes Prof. Jamal Shiha as rapporteur, and Prof. Mahmoud Abul-Nasr as assistant rapporteur. The (Health) committee includes Prof. Dr. Randa Mustafa as a rapporteur and Dr. Mohamed Hassan Khalil, assistant rapporteur. The Population Issue Committee includes Dr. Nevin Obeid, rapporteur, and Dr. Ahmed Ashour, assistant rapporteur. The Committee (Family and Community Cohesion) includes Prof. Nisreen Al-Baghdadi as rapporteur, and Dr. Reham Al-Shabrawi as assistant rapporteur. The Committee (Culture and National Identity) also includes Prof. Dr. Ahmed Zayed as rapporteur, and Dr. Ahmed Megahed, assistant rapporteur. The Youth Committee included Dr. Ahmed Fathy, Rapporteur, and Prof. Zaki Al-Qadi, Assistant Rapporteur.
