The Shizuoka Blue Revs of Japan Rugby League One have acquired talented leaders in the university rugby world and star players who have been active in the national university championships as new players for the 2022-2023 season.

In BK, Eito Maki, who was active as a wing of Waseda University and scored a try in the final of the university championship, will be a member of Shizuoka Blue Revs. Kenta Iemura, one of the co-captains of Kyoto Sangyo University, who has won the Kansai University league consecutively and made it to the top four nationally, also decided to go to Shizuoka, aiming for growth through standoffs. In addition, center Shunsuke Ito, who played a major role in winning five consecutive Kanto University League titles as the captain of Tokai University, has decided to join the Blue Revs.
