While the official date of the series Black Shark 5 fast approaching, the manufacturer has just announced a collaboration with the China Aerospace Shenzhou Media. Through this partnership, consumers will be able to purchase an “Aerospace Edition” of the smartphone.
Black Shark is renowned for its stunning performance gaming smartphones. After launching the Black Shark 4 family in 2021, the firm is preparing to return to the forefront with the Black Shark 5 series. Indeed, if all goes well, the Black Shark 5, Black Shark 5 Pro and Black Shark 5 RS will be official on March 30. While waiting for this big meeting, know that in China, it is already possible to pre-order the three devices.
As if these variants were not enough, today we learn that Black Shark counts too launch a Black Shark 5 Aerospace Edition. As its name suggests, this is a model that will mainly target space exploration enthusiasts.
A pendant containing a piece of meteorite
The Black Shark 5 Aeroispace Edition was designed in partnership with China Aerospace Shenzhou Media. Sporting an astronomy-themed design, the smartphone will be offered with a necklace featuring a pendant containing a piece of meteorite. Note that the pendant will include the inscription “Black Shark”. Unfortunately, we have no idea about the technical characteristics of the device.
On the other hand, we already know that the standard version of the Black Shark 5 will sport a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The maximum refresh rate of the display is 144 Hz. On the processor side, Black Shark has opted for the Snapdragon 870. The RAM capacity is 12 GB, while the power will be provided by a 4650 mAh battery . In addition, the Black Shark 5 will be compatible with a fast charge of 120 W.
Black Shark 5 Pro: more powerful
As for the Black Shark 5 Pro, it will also be equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. However, it looks more powerful with its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor associated with 16 GB of RAM. In terms of power supply, the manufacturer has always provided a 4650 mAh battery supporting 120 W fast charging.
Regarding other features, the Pro version should benefit from a main camera of 108 megapixels. However, the complete configuration of its dorsal photo module is unknown.
