On this occasion, during the period March 20-24, when we celebrate Water Day, the Natural History Museum of Burgas awaits you with curious facts regarding our Black Sea and its inhabitants. The team has developed a special talk in which it presents the main characteristics of the Black Sea – lower salinity, the presence of a layer of hydrogen sulfide, which is devoid of life, etc., with an explanation of how these features affected its inhabitants. Visitors will learn whether there are poisonous fish in our sea, how “dangerous” the Black Sea shark is, why the turbot is flat, and whether the sea swallow is a fish or a bird. The lecture is aimed primarily at schoolchildren and students, but also at all inquisitive residents and guests of Burgas. Lecturers are museum specialists who are dedicated to the topics and can present them in an interesting and engaging way. The talk is by prior request at the museum (30 K.
