The birthday of the dancer Bba today.. a short artistic journey that ends in a tragic accident

Today is the birthday of the dancer and artist Baba Ezz El DinOne of the stars of black and white films, who was born on this day, October 7, 1916, and left our world in 1952.

Baba Ezz El-Din is of Lebanese origin, and her real name is Fatima Hanim Ezz El-Din, and she competed with Badia Masabni following she joined her famous band and hall, as she had a great ambition to break into the world of art, and separated from Badia Masabni to open Saleh in her name and compete as well.

Beba’s fame in the world of art and dance has not been translated into many cinematic films, as did some of her counterparts at this time, including Tahia Karioka and Samia Gamal, as she presented only 8 films, and the beginning was through the movie “All but Keda” in 1936, written by Muhammad Younis Al-Qadi and directed by Edmond Toima and Carlo Popa.

Beba was absent from the cinema for 8 years, to return once more in 1944 with a movie with the star Anwar Wagdy, Mimi Shakib, Bishara and Kim, and Mary Mounib, written and directed by Togo Mizrahi, and her last film was in 1949 entitled “Fatima, Merika and Rachel” starring Mohamed Fawzy and embodied the role of A dancer, to end her relationship with cinema.

Biba died as a result of a tragic accident while returning from the city of Toukh, as she died following a car accident, and she was 36 years old.
