Books – Nashat Ali:
Representative Muhammad Abdullah Zain al-Din, a member of the House of Representatives, Secretary of the Future of a Homeland Party in Buhaira, asked the Prime Minister and the Minister of Health and Population regarding the absence of supervision by the Free Treatment Department over private hospitals at the level of the Republic.
The deputy said: “Unfortunately, most of the private hospitals have turned into investment projects whose main goal is profit, not providing treatment services and relieving patients.”
The member of the House of Representatives indicated that he had received a large number of citizens’ complaints due to the exhaustion of hospitals for patients, saying: It comes to entering for a few hours to receive first aid; Bills often exceed 10,000 pounds.
Zain Al-Din stressed that the biggest problem is if the patient enters for surgery, in which case the treatment bill reaches hundreds of thousands, which represents a major crisis for citizens in their right to receive treatment.
The member of the House of Representatives asked: “Where is the role of the Free Treatment Department at the Ministry of Health in monitoring private hospitals?” He continued: “Where does the simple citizen go if he is unable to reach government hospitals?”
Zain Al-Din called for the need to tighten control over private hospitals, and to make a guide for prices circulated to all hospitals at the level of the Republic.
