The biggest winners and losers of the NFL Draft 2023 after the NFL Draft Combine.

The NFL Combine has come and gone with several players who have boosted their ratings dramatically while others have exhibited lackluster performances.

We’ll soon know what the top of the NFL Draft will look like, but which players had the most impact on their actions during the Combine?

Let’s take a look at the three biggest ups and downs following last week’s results.

The Biggest Winners of the NFL Draft

Anthony Richardson, QB – Floride

No player has boosted his rating as much as Anthony Richardson, who put up one of the most impressive numbers ever at quarterback.

Richardson now has +300 odds to be the NFL Draft’s No. 1 pick, up dramatically from +8000 odds a few months ago. At this point, it would be surprising to see Richardson drop out of the top five picks.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR – Ohio State

Smith-Njigba reminded everyone who he exactly is, in case anyone has forgotten. He led all receivers with a three-cone in 6.57 seconds and a short shuttle in 3.93 seconds, while proving he was past the hamstring issues that kept him out. ground this season.

After being considered a late first-round or early second-round pick, the Ohio State player is now +180 to be the first wide receiver picked. He is one of the most impressive receivers in the class and I expect him to be a top 20 pick.

Darnell Washington, TE – Georgia

Washington had a phenomenal week with measurements similar to Rob Gronkowski’s and made a one-handed catch thanks to a good fit.

Despite catching just 28 passes this season, Washington is now considered a first-round draft for a team that hopes to use his athleticism and make him a star.

The Biggest Losers of the NFL Draft

Will Levis, QB – Kentucky

It’s not that Levis put on a bad performance, although he didn’t seem particularly accurate in his throws, but rather that Richardson and CJ Stroud stood out from Kentucky’s signal-caller.

Levis flirted with odds around +800 to be the first pick in the draft before the combination, but now sits at +1200. It looks like Richardson, Stroud and Bryce Young all have a comfortable lead over Levis.

Kayshon Boutte, WR – LSU

Foot, encounter with the mouth. After declaring that he was the No. 1 receiver in the draft.Boutte finished in the 2nd percentile in the vertical jump (29″) and 32nd percentile in the wide jump (108″) with a disappointing 40 time of 4.67 seconds.

Boutte had just 538 yards this season on 48 catches, and he may have had the most disappointing combination of any receiver. Expect him to be in the third round and maybe even beyond as a result.

Mike Morris, DE – Michigan

NFL teams covet passer athleticism, and Morris has done nothing to suggest he should be among the top edge players selected. In addition to his disappointing numbers in speed drills and jumps, Morris struggled a lot with the four-bag drill.

After making just 23 tackles this season, Morris may have fallen to a third-day pick due to his poor testing.

The odds are updated periodically and may be changed.
