The young lady, who was introduced through STAR’s MasterChef, had dedicated her life to her people and the art of cooking.
“Food is art and food is love. And we should show love and respect for those who cook it, eating it with pleasure,” she wrote in one of her last posts.
In fact, a short while ago, she had made her big dream come true by opening her own restaurant in Paros. With Marialena Xiromeritis, her partner, they ran the well-known restaurant Eight8paros in Naoussa, which was loved by the public.

“I lost my dad early, so my mother was a bit more of a huggable mum. So I didn’t feel disadvantaged by my mom either. In general I have not felt disadvantaged. The laws make me feel at a disadvantage”, said Demi Georgiou, commenting on the bill for same-sex couples.
“I want to go to a church, dress up as a bride, I don’t understand why I can’t. I don’t want to get married in a town hall, I want to get married in a small church. The bill is a small step, the steps are becoming big”, he characteristically commented. “It’s like they’re giving us a little bait. I just think nothing will change. Little by little, slowly and steadily, people will understand their values and go as they want,” added the beloved chef.
Referring to her personal life, Demi Georgiou had revealed that she and her partner had entered into a cohabitation agreement. “We are fine and the marriage proposal has been made in London” revealed Demi Georgiou. “I’m not sad, I’m disappointed about half a bill,” emphasized the famous chef.
