Al-Marsad newspaper: The researcher on carcinogens, Dr. Fahd Al-Khudairi, revealed the best way to consume “olive oil.”

Al-Khudairi said, through his account on the “X” platform: Despite the importance of olive oil for health and it is the healthiest oil and fat of all, drinking it in excess of a teaspoon is not beneficial and may even be harmful and raise cholesterol.

He added: Even if it is olive oil and you do not drink it, use it for cooking and frying and add it to salads, beans, and cheeses. He explained: A moderate addition, “a teaspoon or more during a meal, and not to exceed 15 ml per full day” (24 hours) as the sole source of oils and fats, whether with food or salads.

He continued: An active, mobile, athletic person can add a little to 20 ml of his total throughout the day during cooking, eating, or adding food.
