13th district: Tobogganing with a view
From Favoriten we continue to Hietzing, one of our personal highlights for tobogganing in Vienna. There are also three places for tobogganing waiting for you here: Am Himmelhof you will find three large and slightly steeper meadows that you can toboggan down with sledges, bobsleighs and the like. The toboggan runs are all 250 meters long. At the Red Mountain There are even 280 meters of tobogganing fun between Heinz-Nittel-Weg and Nothartgasse – three meadows invite you to toboggan with a view of the city.
And last but not least, there is even a ski facility in the 13th district that is operational when there is enough snow: The Dollwiese ski facility is perfect for children and all beginners because the slope is not too steep. A conveyor belt takes you up. Apart from that, you can also jet down on a toboggan.
