The best feature of WhatsApp is likely to be introduced very soon

WhatsApp has started testing a few new features in the beta version, one of which has been in the works for a long time.

According to WABetaInfo, a site that monitors WhatsApp updates, WhatsApp has started testing a feature that allows one account to work on multiple devices simultaneously in the beta versions of Android and iOS.

In addition, features to clear chat and improve search within chat have also been introduced in beta versions.

But the most important feature is the multi-device login support which people have been waiting for a long time as it will enable the account to be used on multiple devices.

Currently, a user can only log in to a mobile phone and use the web version on a computer web browser, but the mobile device needs to be nearby.

If the user wants to use his account in another phone, he has to go through the sign-in process again.

According to the report, WhatsApp is testing to provide multi-device login support in 4 devices at a time.

Although 4 devices is less than other chat apps like Telegram, it is still better than the one device limit at the moment.

The availability of beta versions suggests that this feature could be rolled out to all users very soon, but it’s hard to say how much longer it will take.

It is not yet clear how WhatsApp will keep messages encrypted while providing multi-device support.

But one indication of this is WhatsApp’s recent move to encrypt data stored in its cloud servers.

The multi-device support feature was first reported in July last year and WABetainfo reported that WhatsApp was working on building a new platform (Universal Windows Platform). Which will help one account to login on multiple devices simultaneously.

Apart from this, WhatsApp is also working on improving the chat search and users will be able to find their desired chat from search by date.

Another feature is to increase the storage usage edge which will allow the users to get details on how to save WhatsApp media files in the phone.
