The Mazda plant in Vladivostok has not been functioning for a long time. The Japanese automaker sold its stake in the joint venture to domestic Sollers. There are no official deliveries of Mazda products now, but this problem is being solved by the efforts of parallel importers. They recently brought a crossover to the Russian market, which is called the best SUV in the compact class abroad.
We are talking about the Mazda CX-50 model. According to the analysis of the American publication “Edmunds”, in terms of the combination of qualities (reliability, handling, comfort and performance), this car is the best compact crossover in the world, significantly ahead of its competitors.
As it became known to Daily-Motor.Ru, 2023 CX-50 SUVs were brought to Russia. These are cars equipped with both a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine and a turbo engine with a capacity of 187 and 260 horsepower, respectively. They are assisted by a reliable 6-band classic automatic transmission (torque converter).
Considering that this Mazda is declared as a competitor to premium cars, the engine is located transversely in them, and the drive can be selected both rear and all-wheel drive.
Prices for the 4.7-meter crossover of the Japanese brand, which has become the heir to the bestseller CX-5, start at 3 million 190 thousand rubles and reach the amount of 6 million 198 thousand rubles.
