The new Playstation Plus Premium is a great tool for discovering video game classics. There are obviously many absent in the available catalog, but players can still have access to a nice selection of games from their childhood or that they have never been able to play until now. 5- Tekken 2
Even if it has lost some of its luster over the years, the Tekken license remains inseparable from the Playstation 1. It is therefore normal to advise you to take a look and a controller on Tekken 2. It is true that this does not is not the fighting game that has aged the best on the machine and there have been more significant episodes than this one, but it remains a monument of its time that it is always pleasant to discover.
4- Wild Arms
The PS1 has been a home ground for many JRPG licenses, with Final Fantasy leading the way, but that wouldn’t do games like Wild Arms justice. Especially since it is possible to discover its first episode on the PS Plus Premium and get an idea yourself. With its more than charming visuals and its western atmosphere, coupled with a lot of magic, it’s an excellent role-playing game that is still very pleasant to play.
3- Jack and Daxter (1 to 3)
Although the Naughty Dog series has fallen into disuse, old players remember an excellent trilogy featuring two atypical heroes. A more than enjoyable platform game that has made Playstation 2 owners happy. More premium.
2- Ape Escape (1 and 2)
If there is a strange series, it is that of Ape Escape. A young boy must catch monkeys endowed with intelligence, with the help of various gadgets, each one more eccentric than the other. The first episode of the series on Playstation 1 was above all an opportunity to promote the new Dualshock, with the arrival of its two joysticks. A winning bet, for a series that will find it difficult to renew itself over the episodes, but which remains a beautiful nugget to rediscover.
1- Oddworld : Abe’s Oddysee
Another series that was born on Playstation, with Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. Our hero, who does not seem to be one, must save his fellow creatures through a platform game and puzzles, designed around Abe’s mind control powers. A title that surprised more than one player at the time and which still remains a Playstation classic in every sense of the word.
