About 50 bereaved family members were watching the agency report in a separate listening space in the National Assembly that day.

They are known to have expressed their dissatisfaction with the answers of Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min, who came out during the institutional report, and the inquiries of members of the People’s Power.

Minister Lee’s answer to the effect that there was no major problem in responding to the disaster and remarks by ruling party lawmakers who focused on the controversy of Democratic Party lawmaker Shin Hyun-young, who raised the issue of riding with Dr. Car, were the causes.

As a result, some of the bereaved families went to the meeting room where the institutional report was being held and tried to ask for a direct attendance, but there was a brief friction with the National Assembly officials.

Afterwards, a bereaved family member who came to the meeting room through the mediation of opposition party lawmakers shouted, “Is there any meaning to the government investigation that is dragging on Shin Hyun-young?” and “I am dissatisfied with the attitude of the ruling party lawmakers.”
