the Belgian revelation Mallory Gabsi, acquitted in a fight case

The young chef, who was awarded by Michelin, by a star and the title of young chef of the year, was charged in a fight case which took place in 2020. Belgian justice acquitted him.

He received his first star in the Michelin Guide a few days ago: the young chef Mallory Gabsi is undoubtedly one of the great revelations of Top Chef, the cooking show broadcast on M6. The young Belgian was however in recent years, prosecuted by justice.

As explained by our colleagues from The voice of the North, he was accused of being involved in a fight that took place during a “lockdown party” – an evening organized in full confinement – in full confinement in September 2020, in the south of Brussels. One victim who had been knocked unconscious suffered a broken jaw. Some witnesses claim that the young chief was directly involved, but the speeches collected by the authorities differ on this issue. Mallory Gabsi risked up to six months in prison: he was acquitted by Belgian justice.

The young chef can be seen today in several shows around the kitchen, such as Kitchen nightmare or The best bakery.
