The Beausoleil Côte d’Azur Sport Film Festival, organized by the CDOS Côte d’Azur, will be held for the second year from May 2 to 4 in Beausoleil.
After a successful first edition, the Beausoleil Côte d’Azur Sport Film Festival is once once more packing its bags in Beausoleil (Alpes-Maritimes) for a second consecutive year. This festival is co-organized by the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee of the Alpes-Maritimes (CDOS 06) and the City of Beausoleil, under the aegis of the International Sports Film and Television Federation (FICTS), member of the culture and Olympic heritage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). This festival is part of the 41st edition of the World FICTS Challenge.
This event, which will last three days, will be animated by screenings of films such as Invinctus, Born To Ride, documentaries (Souls sisters and RRC Nice-AS Béziers), debates on sport and culture, on today’s rugby which can be a new image of virility, in the presence of sports journalists, authors, historians, former rugby players and political personalities. Not to mention the broadcast of audiovisual sports content in all its forms and disciplines at the Cultural Center Hereditary Prince Jacques of Monaco.
Riding the Olympic and Paralympic wave
Beausoleil being a labeled city Land of Games and Active and sporting city, it was therefore obvious that the municipality is organizing a second edition of the Beausoleil Côte d’Azur Sport Film Festival. A little over a year from the Olympic and Paralympic high mass, the Côte d’Azur city is setting off to surf as it should on the Olympic and Paralympic wave.
To top it off, the Beausoleil Côte d’Azur Sport Film Festival has quality sponsors. For this second edition, Fanny Horta, former French rugby sevens international and Olympic vice-champion in the discipline, as well as Aubin Hueber, former French rugby union international, have been appointed to this position.
