On December 28th, the very valuable username @satoshi posted one on X. This account is said to be linked to the creator of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. At least according to the account owner. The rather long post was entitled “Protection of Original Bitcoin Protocol and Open Source Code Rights”. The user behind the account describes the latest developments related to the protection and preservation of the original Bitcoin protocol.
The fake Satoshi continues to push himself
He is quick to emphasize that he does not want to undermine the rights and opportunities associated with open source code in any way. However, he is disturbed by the developments in which the protocol was forged “without his consent”. It was these developments that prompted him to actually step in to protect the original BTC protocol. He considers the most important step to be to protect his intellectual product that he has created, as the founder of BTC. But there should be no doubt.
The account is known to belong to Craig Wright, who has been hacking for years claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto. Of course, he cannot support his claim with arguments, he starts lawsuits once morest BTC developers and pushes his own propaganda on every forum, to see if anyone will believe him. He also claims to own the BTC codes and has even filed lawsuits once morest websites that published the Bitcoin Whitepaper. The opinion of the community is clearly shown by the fact that a significant part of the approximately 160 comments received on the post are frauds and scams, and some of them even emphasized the importance of protecting the open source code.
