Bariloche appears in the fifth place in the ranking of the most visited airports in the country in June, with 164,691 passengers, according to the National Civil Aviation Administration.

The first place is occupied by Aeoparque, with more than one million passengers, followed by Ezeiza, Córdoba and Mendoza.

The ANAC report highlights “a more federal air connection” since more than 137 thousand people flew through the country without going through Buenos Aires. The flight that connects Bariloche and Rosario, for example, grew by 27% with 4,030 passengers. It was followed by Iguazú-Jujuy; Neuquen-Comodoro Rivadavia; Mendoza-Mar del Plata and Cordoba-Ushuaia.

Direct connections from within the country on international flights were also analyzed. In this sense, the routes that grew the most were Córdoba-Madrid, Mendoza-San Pablo; Mendoza – Santiago de Chile and, Bariloche-Santiago de Chile with 771 passengers -even though it is a new route-.

The report also highlights that in June the company Andes Líneas Aéreas resumed its non-scheduled passenger and cargo flights in Argentina. The first flight was operated on June 19, connecting the city of Iguazú with Bariloche.

Luis Candelaria International Airport receives an average of 50 daily flights in July, including arrivals, departures, and charter flights. In addition to the flights from Ezeiza, Aeroparque, Viedma, Rosario, Córdoba and Mendoza, the connection with Salta and Tucumán was resumed. And this Saturday the first flight from Mar del Plata arrives. (This service will be operational on Saturdays and Tuesdays with the Mar del Plata-Bariloche route and, on Mondays and Wednesdays, Bariloche-Mar del Plata). Meanwhile, this week Aerolíneas Argentinas launched its weekly flight from San Pablo and Sky offers direct flights from Santiago de Chile.
