The Bank of Greece approved the merger of Attica Bank and Pancreatia Bank

As stated in the relevant announcement of Attica Bank: “Based on the existing schedule, the Merger is expected to be completed at the beginning of September, as long as the required approvals of the competent authorities and the General Assemblies of the two credit institutions are received.”

“Following its announcements of 24.07.2024 and 26.07.2024, “Attica Bank Anonymi Banking Company” (“Attica Bank”) announces to the investing public that the Attica Bank – Pancreatia Bank A Merger was approved today by the Bank of Greece. E. (“Pankritia”) through the absorption of Pankritia by Attica Bank.

Based on the existing schedule, the Merger is expected to be completed at the beginning of September, provided that the required approvals of the competent Authorities and the General Assemblies of the two credit institutions are received.

In any event, the timing of the Merger depends on incalculable factors and is subject to change.

The Bank will inform the investing public about the progress of the Merger process in the context of the implementation of the provisions of the 18.07.2024 Agreement between the Financial Stability Fund and Thrivest Holding Ltd., as ratified by a. 1 n. 5127/2024″.
