Cateno De Luca and his Freedom – South calls North list are preparing to break a real record in view of the next European elections: never, in fact, has it happened that so many logos could coexist within a party symbol. Confirmation of the record comes from Gabriele Maestri, symbol expert and curator of the site isimbolidelladiscordia.it: «We are faced with a record, without a doubt, as regards the symbols contained in an electoral sign presented in political and European elections», he explains Masters at Adnkronos about the great crowding of acronyms – from Italexit to the Great North, passing through Pirozzi’s Civics in motion – which will characterize the mayor of Taormina’s race for the European elections in June.

A job that literally took away the sleep of De Luca’s visual brand designer, Max Barbera: «Cateno called me at night, he always wanted to add a new symbol. We tried to find a solution to better represent everything. The symbol expert Maestri answers this question: «The Europeans naturally tend to complicate the symbols, above all due to the need to join forces with the aim of reaching 4%. But it had never reached this level. Of course, it will be difficult to recognize the smallest symbols on the card that are just over 2 millimeters in diameter…”. De Luca’s list is still a work in progress. Today the former mayor of Messina presented the last 4 entries: Sovereignty, which includes some who left, including Marco Mori, from Gianni Alemanno’s Indipendenza; The people of the family, by Mario Adinolfi; the ecological movement Green Source and Sustainable Progress of Giulia Moi, former M5S elected in Europe. «Four more stars in the firmament of freedom. We are at 17 but it probably doesn’t end here”, promises De Luca.
