A widespread case of controversy and anger, the most recent of which was a scene by the Syrian actress Karis Bashar in the series “Fire with Fire”, which is shown during the current Ramadan season.

Karis Bashar appeared in the scene as “Maryam”, which she plays in the series, as she took off her veil in order to take photographs to obtain a forged Lebanese passport for her.

“Omran”, whose role is played by the Syrian actor Abed Fahd, asks her to take off the veil, on the pretext that it is better if she does so, because then she will appear as Lebanese, with our indication on the “Art” website that there are a large number of Lebanese pilgrims, and a number A large number of non-veiled Syrian women.

“Maryam” appears in the scene confused and sad, and features of regret appear on her face, and the actress was able to perform the scene in an ideal way, and she showed, as usual, her high abilities, and in this role she is forced to give up her veil that she wore out of conviction, but the audience, with great negativity, decided to consider the scene offensive morals, and contains racist ideas.

Karis Bashar did not intend to offend the veiled woman, and her intention was only to embody reality as it is, but the audience itself, which accepted the idea of ​​forgery, did not accept that she remove her veil, in a scene that does not offend shame.

“Fire by Fire” is a series produced by Al-Sabah Brothers, starring Abed Fahd, Karis Bashar, George Khabbaz, Tony Issa and a number of Syrian and Lebanese drama actors.
