The Attorney General of Mexico insists that Agostina Jalabert “took her own life”

When everything suggested that the cover of the case might have a twist, The Attorney General of the Mexican State of Quintana Roo, Oscar Montes de Oca, affirmed today that the Argentine model and influencer Agostina Jalabert “expertly and scientifically she took her own life.”

These statements were made during a press conference offered this Monday by the Security Cabinet of that Mexican province. The prosecutor explained that “however, there was an environment of violence before and during that moment with his partner (Juan Manuel Reverter).”

In this way, the judicial official, on the other hand, assured that it is not ruled out that “your partner has not induced” the suicide and “it may be one of the possibilities and is a matter of investigation.”

Montes de Oca, the prosecutor of the State of Quintana Roo, insisted once more that Agostina Jalabert “materially took her own life.” Then a journalist consults him regarding the cigarette burns and assures that she was her before she “taken her life.” She explained that there was violence “the night before between her and her partner. There is enough evidence”

Regarding Juan Manuel Reverter, Agostina Jalabert’s partner, the prosecutor stated that “he had been interviewed by the investigative police and at that time we had no elements to make an arrest or any other type of legal action once morest him. However, that does not mean that it is not sought following or that a link can be established with the death of this person.

In a note in TN, Agostina’s father, Edgardo Jalabert affirmed the need to change the cover of the case: “Our lawyer found plenty of evidence enough for the case to be classified as femicide, as they say in Mexico. The police came at the time, did the tests they considered necessary and classified it as a suicide, which is why Reverter has no arrest warrant.”

«We want the truth, we want justice for Agos. The ways in which everything happened would not indicate that he had taken his own life, and more of the way my other daughter found her. This deserves further investigation,” Jalabert added.

He clarified that the family from Argentina might not stop the cremation of Agostina’s body, but that the prosecutor’s office had to do it. However, Since the cause was classified as suicide, the body was quickly cremated.
