The Moroccan artist and singer Fathallah Lamghari died Saturday evening at the age of 82 in a hospital in Rabat, following an illness, we learned from his family.
The late Fathallah Lamghari profoundly marked the history of Moroccan song thanks to his rich repertoire covered by several artists. “Allah Ala Raha”, “Faynek Al Hbib”, “Wallah manta maana” are, among others, the artist’s masterpieces.
The Moroccan artist, who was also a great lyricist, composed the texts of songs that have experienced real success. Besides, he is behind the success of songs like “Maghiyara”, “Kass El Bellar” and “Mouhal Ynessak Elbal” of which he wrote the lyrics, in addition to the patriotic song “Nidaa Al Hassan” which he wrote on the occasion of the Green March.
