The ARS appeals to retired doctors

The public authorities know it: in terms of health, the summer will be hot, since the workforce will be just in time. We know that in the emergency services. But this will also be the case in liberal medical practices. This is why the Occitanie Regional Health Agency has just launched an appeal to all retired doctors to mobilize this summer. The ARS indicates, in a press release: “To guarantee the proper functioning of all our health services this summer, the ARS Occitanie calls on all voluntary retired doctors to continue their collective and united commitment to serving patients, as during throughout the period of the health crisis. ARS Occitanie is setting up, in conjunction with the URPS doctors, the Order of Physicians and the federation of support systems (FACS Occitanie), a system for recruiting voluntary retired doctors to ensure replacements from August 1. The attached press release specifies the issues and terms of this call for the mobilization of retired doctors, to ensure replacements this summer in each territory in Occitania.” Concretely, interested retired doctors can write by e-mail to [email protected]
