Married women were arrested along with 10 people in compromising situations, in the middle of an “auberge” that its owner had turned into a den of corruption after its license was revoked.
This scandal erupted after the Royal Gendarmerie in the city of Azour, in the Ifrane region, was able to arrest the ten accused, early this week, after they were involved in a case related to corruption, adultery, and public drunkenness in the village of Wakmas, located in the territorial jurisdiction of the Ben Samim commune.
Media sources reported that the operation resulted in the arrest of 5 women, three of whom were married, and 5 married men, inside an “auberge” whose licenses were revoked in 2017, and whose owner later exploited it to provide prostitution services at night.

This, and the intervention of the Royal Gendarmerie came after a tip-off received by its services, to coordinate with the competent public prosecutor at the Azrou Primary Court and set up a tight ambush followed by a raid on the “auberge” and the arrest of its residents who were caught red-handed practicing corruption, adultery and public drunkenness.

It is noteworthy that the suspects, along with the owner of the “auberge”, were kept in custody pending the judicial investigation supervised by the competent public prosecutor’s office, to uncover all the circumstances and details of this case.
