Police arrested a protester who held a banner reading “Property Abolished” outside the Palace of Westminster this morning, according to the Daily Mail. King Charles This morning, the Queen’s wife offered condolences to the members of the House of Commons and the House of Lords.
King Charles also addressed Parliament for the first time in Westminster Hall, which is nearly 1,000 years old, the heart of the old Palace of Westminster, where his mother will lie untouched from Wednesday evening for four days until her funeral next Monday.

King Charles III began his day in London by visiting Parliament Hall, in the Palace of Westminster, where he met both the House of Commons and the House of Lords to express their condolences, and Charles delivered his first speech as king in the presence of his wife, the Queen Consort.
King Charles, accompanied by Camilla, Queen Consort, will fly to Edinburgh, where he will walk at regarding 3:25 local time in a procession behind the Queen’s coffin from the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh to St Giles’ Cathedral.
Members of the public will be able to watch the procession as it moves along the Royal Mile.
A prayer service will be held to celebrate the life of the Queen at 4:00 pm and from 5:00 pm, and members of the public will be able to view the coffin, which will lie in the cathedral for 24 hours.
Officials say a queuing system will be in place, and more details will be announced soon. Attendees were warned that this would likely involve standing for a number of hours.
The King will also travel to Holyrood House, where he will meet the First Minister of Scotland, Nicola Sturgeon. He and the Queen consort will then attend the Scottish Parliament, where members will present letters of condolence.
In the evening, King Charles will hold a memorial service with other members of the royal family at St Giles’ Cathedral, where the Queen is resting.
The Queen’s coffin will be transported from St Giles’ Cathedral to Edinburgh Airport on Tuesday, and then on a plane to London with her daughter, Princess Anne.
The coffin is expected to arrive in London shortly before 7:00 pm, and then travel to Buckingham Palace, where it will be greeted by the King and Camilla.
Although the route from St Giles’ Cathedral to Edinburgh Airport has not yet been announced, members of the public will be able to view the procession.
