This March 30 and 31, the Ardon festival committee is organizing the ninth edition of the Ard Trail RaidLight in the Loiret. Eight events are on the program.

It’s time ! L’Ard Trail RaidLight makes its return, these March 30 and 31, from the Salle de l’Ardoux in Ardon. In Sologne, more than 600 runners will take part in the event rich in formats, as eight events are proposed by the organizing festival committee. From 1.5 km to 50 km, the longest distance in the Loiret, the Ard Trail once once more promises a beautiful playground.

A wide palette

“There is no particular difficulty because there is no difference in altitude. The most difficult thing at the moment is the mud and the slightly greasy terrain. Even at the end, crossing the pond is not obligatory, so we can go around it even if almost 100% of people cross it”informs Gwénaëlle Raigneau, member of the organization.

Of the eight scheduled events, participants will discover various paths, sometimes off-trail. Some will also run on the Grémuse military terrain, between dirt, sand and hills, like the previous edition.

The longest offered on the departmental calendar, the 50 km is the main event of the event. Committed runners have the option of participating solo or in a relay. But before it, it is the Ard Noctem, contested the day before (Saturday), which will be at the party. With a distance of 10 km, this night race will launch hostilities on a new route dotted with sand pits, streams and galloping trails. The Ard Valais (33 km) and the Ard Unum Mountera (21 km) are also races dedicated to the most experienced. As for the Ard Onnaise (12 km) and the Ard du Lis Cogep (5 km), the routes are accessible, easy and without any major difficulty. Children will be able to take part in the Ard Douxce (1.5 km). Without forgetting the 10 km Ard Nordic Walk, which will follow forest paths.
