At the conclusion of the fourth conference of the Arab Parliament and the heads of Arab councils and parliaments, which was held at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo, the heads of Arab parliaments approved a document “a parliamentary vision to achieve security and stability and advance the current Arab reality”, to submit it to Arab leaders at the meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States on The next thirty-first summit.
The document includes the constants and determinants of the Arab position towards 14 issues, which represent the common denominator between the challenges and crises facing the Arab nation, namely: the Palestinian issue, crises and conflicts in the Arab world, and included: “The Yemeni crisis, the Libyan crisis, the Syrian crisis, the Sudanese crisis, the Somali crisis, The Lebanese crisis”, combating terrorism and extremist ideology, confronting external interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries, nuclear security in the region, Arab water and food security, climate security in the Arab world, promoting human rights in the Arab world, issues of empowerment and advancement of Arab women, and empowering Arab youth unemployment in the Arab world, and the development of education in the Arab world. The delegation of the UAE Parliamentary Division participated in the conference with a delegation headed by Hamad Ahmed Al Rahoumi, First Deputy Speaker of the Federal National Council, and members of the Arab Parliament group: Muhammad Ahmed Al Yamahi, head of the group, Naima Abdullah Al Sharhan, second deputy speaker of the FNC, Ahmed Hamad Boushehab, and Shatha Saeed Al Naqbi. , Council members.
