The announcement of the release date of the new Google Pixel 5 smartphone continues

Google had introduced the mid-range Pixel 4a smartphone in August, but at the time it was said that the new flagship Pixel phone would have to wait a while.

Now the company has announced the launch date of Pixel 5 and Pixel 4A 5G which will be introduced at the end of September.

Google’s virtual event will take place on September 30 and will feature smartphones, a Chromecast streaming device and voice-enabled smart speakers.

Pixel phones are known for having excellent camera systems, but their sales are not high compared to flagship phones from Apple and Samsung.

Well, the company might not care too much because 9 out of 10 smartphones in the world use its operating system.

Renders of the Google Pixel 5 were leaked last month, which looked quite similar to the Pixel 4A.

The images suggested that the fingerprint sensor would be on the back of the phone while the dual camera setup would be housed in a rectangular box, with an unknown sensor next to it.

The punch-hole design on the front will house the selfie camera on the top left side of the display.

There have been conflicting reports regarding the display of the phone, according to On-Leaks it will be 5.7 or 5.8 inches while Android Central in a report said that the phone will be equipped with an OLED panel from Google. In which 9 Hz refresh rate will be given.

According to other leaks regarding this phone, it will have a Snapdragon 765G processor which will support 5G.

Apart from this, 8 to 12 GB of RAM, 15 W wireless charging and 5 W wireless charging support will also be present in the phone.

Well, these are currently being leaked from various websites but it is expected that Google may also ‘accidentally’ leak details about the new flagship device before the phone is introduced.

This is often done by Google, a company known for ‘accidentally’ leaking details of its phones prematurely.
