The Anne Frank House for the blind and partially sighted

The Anne Frank House for the blind and partially sighted

26 augustus 2024

The Anne Frank House is pleased to welcome people with a visual impairment to the museum with a special introductory program. The first opportunity is on Thursday, September 26, 2024 from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM.

A visit to the place where Anne Frank was in hiding and where she wrote her diary is a special experience. We also want to give blind and partially sighted people the opportunity to visit and experience Anne Frank’s former hiding place at Prinsengracht 263. Before the museum visit, one of our museum teachers will describe the rooms in the front and back house and report on the events that took place there during the Second World War and the persecution of the Jews. Visitors can ask questions and then visit the museum at their own leisure and at their own pace.
