Faced with Stanislas Rigault, head of the youth movement of Reconquest, guest on BFMTV, journalist Bruce Toussaint took offense at the political recovery of the death of Lola, murdered on Friday October 14.

The case arouses a wave of emotion throughout the country, including on television sets. A few days following the murder of Lola, the “Live Toussaint”, a program broadcast on BFMTV, received Stanislas Rigault, Wednesday October 19.

The head of the youth movement of Reconquest, party of Éric Zemmour, angered Bruce Toussaint, presenter of the channel. For a few moments, the journalist came out of his reserve to send a message to his guest.

For several days, the opposition parties have denounced the government’s inaction in this case, when the main suspect was under an obligation to leave French territory. On Monday, four days following the tragedy, the Reconquest movement registered the domain names “Justice for Lola” and “Manif for Lola”. A rally was also organized Thursday, October 20, announced Éric Zemmour on Twitter, accompanied by the hashtag #ManifpourLola.

“This child is not buried!”

“Getting that name back is a problem. You say no, but honestly I don’t see how you can do it without the family’s consent”first offended Bruce Toussaint. “Is this a joke or what? All the people who tweeted his name, do you think they all asked the family?” retorted Stanislas Rigault. An answer that made Bruce Toussaint come out of his hinges. “This child is not buried, what are you talking regarding? It is indecent what you are doing on this case. On this demonstration. Your opinions, you have every right to have them… But this child is not buried!”

In an interview with Le Parisien, the mayor of the town where the girl’s parents took refuge had indicated that the latter did not want “especially not political recovery.” A wish that Stanislas Rigault and Reconquest do not respect, according to Bruce Toussaint. “What are you doing for the respect of this family? Stop, stop… Remove these hashtags, it’s a family man who tells you”concluded the presenter, visibly moved.
