The Anacrusis, Le Left 4 Dead En Carton, Propose Un Mode Versus

2023-06-28 00:10:55

Released in Early Access in early 2022, The Anacrusis is still alive, which is pretty amazing. We won’t blame you if you forgot what this game was regarding, so here’s a little reminder: you see Left 4 Dead ? Well, you do a strict copy/paste, and to make it look like, you replace the post-apo universe with retro-futurism from the 60s and the zombies with aliens. You do a really slick and generic art direction, you take all the feel out of the weapons, you put plastic enemies on, and voilà! As our good Xan K. indicated at the time of its release, the game had no soul and clearly did not come close to its mentor. And it must be said that our experience had even been even worse the days following the release, so we never got our hands on it once more. If it is, it has become a great game! Er… In any case, we are not telling you regarding it by chance: a update just releasedand finally offers a versus mode!

Aware that their game does not unite not many people, the developers offer 4v4, but also 3v3, 2v2, and even 1v1. Right now it’s in beta and they’re asking players for ideas to make the game fun. In the meantime, it is possible to customize its parts to activate or not the IA if you do not want to be bored. But for now they have first still a netcode problem, because on the ten minutes of stream that I might observe on the Steam page, the enemy special aliens were moving in slideshow mode…

If you want more info, including details of the playable aliens, you can consult the ticket de blog Steam which is dedicated to Update #35. And you can also find performance improvements and bug fixes there.

If, for some mysterious reason, you wish to acquire The Anacrusisknow that it is currently on promotion on Steam at –50%, i.e. just under €10. Note that it is no longer available on the Xbox Game Pass.
