Aged 63 and 62 respectively, owners Alain Audet and Martine Girard have decided to end their operations following several years of service.
The call for retirement led the duo to sell the building to another family member, Frank Audet, who will use it for other purposes.
“We want to thank our loyal customers for all these wonderful years,” says Martine Girard, visibly emotional. “I’m going to miss all of this,” she concluded.
Mr. Audet and Mrs. Girard acquired the family business in 1992. Since then, they have not stopped serving the people of Saint-Hilarion. They say they want to stay busy for the next few years, but it was time to put an end to operations.
