He added: The rest of the price is to be paid in installments with one of the financing agencies registered with the Financial Supervisory Authority, which is agreed upon, and the company is committed to receiving and disposing of the old replaced tuk-tuk vehicles, in addition to providing financial support to the project beneficiary to support and encourage the project.
He pointed out that an annex to the protocol will be made, explaining all the details related to the project from (the purchase price of the tuk tuk – the value of the new vehicle – the down payment – the value of the monthly installment – the number of years of installments – the financing agencies – the value of the financial support provided by the project.

Al-Najjar pointed out that the goal of the protocol is to cooperate, upgrade and develop the system of replacing old “tuk-tuk” vehicles with alternative vehicles that run on electricity, provided that there are safety and licensing means available at the Traffic Department, pointing out that all necessary studies for the project will be prepared.
The protocol includes that the first batch of 500 new vehicles will be in stages, in addition to a requirement for the availability of two service and maintenance centers and spare parts for the supplying company, as well as providing the necessary facilities for the completion of this project.
He said that a working group will be formed in order to start implementing the initiative to achieve its goals in an orderly manner.
He noted that the cars that will be provided are energy-saving, environmentally friendly, light and fast to achieve their purpose, and have an official driving license and metal plates, and they will be supported with tracking and electronic pre-order for use, with the possibility of making any modification or development according to what requires use and the resulting operating experiences.
