The alleged theft of a cell phone would have triggered the shooting of a young man in Córdoba

A new act of urban violence was registered in Córdoba, in this case with the unfortunate toll of a 23-year-old young man, identified as Julián Rivadero, who died after being shot in the head.

It all happened at the exit of a dance venue located in the town of Saldán, 35 kilometers from the Capital, on Saturday morning.

For now there are no people identified and even fewer accused. The young man went to a dance venue in that sector of Greater Córdoba, Zona Latina, and in that place (or in its vicinity) the tragedy would have unleashed.

“We never found out anything until the other day when we woke up, the truth is that we did not see any strange situation, let alone what we found out that there had been shots. Later I found out on Saturday night that it had apparently been a bullet to the head,” Leonardo, the owner of the nightclub, told Cadena 3.

According to what was reported by the Police and Justice, upon leaving the establishment, a a fight and in that context the victim received a shot to his face.

“He was serious until this Sunday night, when he finally passed away,” prosecutor Diego de Aragón confirmed to Cadena 3.

According to relatives of the victim, the man was with his girlfriend and his brother. They had gone to dance at the local Zona Latina and were attacked when they were leaving on a motorcycle.

In Cadena 3, his father assured that they were shot because they confused him with a thief who stole a cell phone. “They accused him of a robbery that he had nothing to do with, the shots were fired by people who were outside the nightclub,” he said.

In the first instance, he was admitted to the Elpidio Torres Hospital but later he was transferred to San Roque. This Sunday he passed away.

“The boy left on the motorcycle and a short distance away they caught up with him and shot,” said prosecutor De Aragón.
