Brito Bolívar would be, according to the Prosecutor’s Office’s accusation, the leader of the organization, the one in charge of planning and contacting the ELN guerrilla to “sell” the professor as valuable merchandise for the criminal group. The head of ‘Lucho’ Díaz’s father had a price and although they did not say it, the criminals knew the amount well.
“He is in charge of guiding its members in criminal observation and logistical coordination for carrying out the kidnappings and subsequent delivery of the kidnapped people to members of the ELN,” they warned during the preliminary hearings for the imposition of charges.
