The All-Summer League Teams have fallen, here are the rewards

A few minutes following the announcement of the competition’s MVP, Kings rookie Keegan Murray, the NBA also formalized the two All-Summer League Teams. Ten players who particularly dominated in Las Vegas, some of whom will probably have a real role as soon as their franchise resumes. Not a guarantee of a successful career, eh, but at least a good opportunity to toast.

Ten days of competition, bars of laughter in front of names that we only see in July, rookies led to become real cracks but who take their time, and others who have less, time, and who therefore took advantage of this Summer League to explode in the public eye. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas? Yep, except the All-Summer League Teams.

No Paolo Banchero, who only played two games although they were delicious, no Chet Holmgren, dominant defensively and intriguing in attack but less brilliant than some in numbers, and no Jabari Smith Jr., effective but more in the feeling of the talent than in the crazy stats. No Juhann Begarin either, who therefore joins the All-Summer League Third Team, a team that has just been created here, by us, on our couch. Absolutely nothing infamous anyway, and in any case – as my father used to say – we’re not going to shit a clock for Summer League either.

The first squad rewarded? Inside the Rockets Tari Eason, a real find from Houston and dominating on both sides of the field, a find with which we can also associate Ty-Ty Washington, another very exciting rookie in Texas. Alongside Tari in this All-Summer League Team? New York snipers Quentin Grimes (Knicks) and Cam Thomas (Nets), MVP Keegan Murray and Bucks sophomore Sandro Mamukelashvili, perhaps the one who seemed the most dominant and easy of the whole gang. In their wake we find in team 2… Santi Aldama, sophomore of the Grizzlies author of a big competition but whose medal might easily have been passed on to his colleague Kenneth Lofton Jr., the MVP of the final Trendon Watford, the small moped of the Bucks Lindell Wigginton, Bulls pivot Marko Simonovic and Canadian Pacers star Bennedict Mathurin.

This time it’s well and truly over, the young people of Vegas have packed their bags and have been heading for the last few hours to gyms and/or quiet beaches just to take advantage of the summer calm. We ? We will certainly not take advantage of the summer calm and we will rather put together a nice program for you this summer. Nomeho.
