From now on, the assortment of fresh products will occupy a prominent place at the entrance to the Aldi store in Bastogne. To allow this conversion, the store closed its doors this Saturday March 25 at 7 p.m. and will reopen on Friday March 31 at 8:30 a.m.
In recent years, the range of fresh products at ALDI has grown considerably. The discounter offers a wide range of fresh meat, more than 90% of which is of Belgian origin. In addition, more and more fresh fruits and vegetables are offered in bulk.
”With our new layout, we are making shopping even easier for our customers, says Jerome Gohmann, Sales Manager of ALDI’s regional headquarters in Vaux-sur-Sûre. By offering our fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meat and fresh fish immediately at the front of the store, the shopping cart can be easily filled with the most essential products. “
The bakery department with fresh breads, pastries and bread rolls remains present in the first aisle. Weekly promotions are featured in the middle of each aisle.
The new development is part of a large-scale renovation of the retail park. The discounter is opening all new stores and those that have been remodeled to the new layout with fresh produce at the front.
From now on, it is also the turn of existing stores. In 2022, 50 stores have been refurbished. A hundred more will be added this year.
