Al-Marsad newspaper: Researchers said that two essential elements in our daily diet might be the reason for the high incidence of colon cancer among people under the age of 50.

And according to the British newspaper “Daily Mail”, a new study showed that red meat and sugar, which are two main components of our diet, might be behind the “mysterious rise” of colon cancer in young people, especially in the United States.

This study comes at a time when colon cancer deaths among people under the age of 40 are expected to double by 2030. This type is also expected to be the number one cause of cancer deaths in young people by the end of the decade.

The study, published by a research team at the Cleveland Clinic, found that eating red meat and sugar were linked to the incidence of colon cancer at a young age.
