Sharjah: The Al Deid Date Festival will begin on July 21. The date festival will be held at Expo Al Deid until July 24. This will give you an opportunity to see and taste different types of dates. Prizes of Rs.2 crore will be awarded in the competitions held on the occasion of date festival. The prize money ranges from 20,000 to 5 lakh rupees.
This amount will be awarded to 145 prize winners in six preliminary competitions. In connection with this, an exhibition of traditional art forms and handicrafts production exhibition will be staged.
