Given the spread of fake news on social networks, the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) denied that the Buy Without VAT Program includes refunds on money withdrawn online from cash registers.
“Since the implementation of Buy Without VAT, the organization verifies compliance with the refund in accordance with current regulations to avoid possible fraudulent maneuvers. “Permanent inspection actions can lead to fines on establishments, users and the suspension of their respective CUIT or CUIL,” AFIP said in a statement.
And remembered that The 21% refund for debit card purchases only includes products in the basic basket.
Who benefits from the VAT refund?
The measure reaches retirees and pensioners who are beneficiaries of death and non-contributory national pensions who receive up to six minimum salaries, monotributists, workers in a dependency relationship with salaries of up to six minimum salaries, and beneficiaries of the Potenciar Trabajo, the Alimentar Card and the Universal Child Allowance (AUH) and Universal Pregnancy Allowance (AUE).
