Today, the Cairo Criminal Court heard the first session of the artist’s trial Minnah Shalabion charges of drug possession and abuse, while the Egyptian artist was absent from her first court session, when 10 lawyers attended to defend her.
And the Public Prosecution had ordered the artist to be referred to the felonies after it was proven that she had narcotic hashish with the intention of using, adding that she had raised the charges against her according to the testimony of five witnesses to the incident, the findings of the police investigations, and what was proven by the recordings of the monitoring machines at the place where they were seized, in addition to what resulted from the chemical laboratory examination of the seizures. found in her possession.
The Public Prosecution said that it had completed its investigations after the arrest of the artist by listening to the testimony of the workers at Cairo International Airport, which resulted in the examination of the accused’s bags with an x-ray machine during the completion of the customs procedures, during which it appeared that there were organic condensates inside them, so they were thoroughly searched, which resulted in the finding of narcotic substances in the bags.
The prosecution stated that the report of the chemical laboratory proved that the seizures contained two drugs, namely hashish and cannabis, which are listed in the first schedule of the drug law schedules, while the investigation conducted on the incident testified that the drugs were seized and possessed with the intention of abuse, and therefore they were referred to felonies.
The Egyptian security services arrested the artist, Menna Shalaby, while she was returning from travel, in possession of a quantity of drugs at the end of last November.
And the Egyptian customs announced that the details of the seizures included “6 plastic bags labeled with lychee, containing the narcotic marijuana plant weighing 45 grams, 2 plastic bags labeled with sherb containing the narcotic marijuana plant weighing 15 grams, and a plastic bag labeled with cannbrs containing the same narcotic plant weighing 6 grams, and two sacks.” A plastic parpie punch with the same anesthetic plant weighing 7 grams.

The seizures included an electronic hookah with anesthetic oil inside, a cardboard box containing an ampoule containing an electronic hookah, a green box marked with smoke sessions with a marijuana plant sign, and an empty mill used for drug abuse.
