The actress Maria Castro has played the role of Isabel de Trastámara in the recreation of the act of proclamation as queen of Castilean event that happened ago 550 years and that has been recreated in a Segovia full of visitors, who applauded the actress as she passed through the Plaza Mayorwithin the setting created to remember that historical event.
The procession that accompanies the queen on her way from the Alcázar to the Plaza Mayor It has been dotted with tourists and Segovians who have been able to see the future queen on the back of a horse with which she has entered a Plaza Mayor full of people. After reciting some historical passages from chroniclers that reflected that proclamation, María Castro and the rest of the actors and extras headed to the paving of the Cathedralenabled with stands to accommodate 700 spectators.
