Soviet and Russian actor Alexander Lipov has passed away. Information regarding this was published by representatives of the Oryol Russian Style Theater named following Bakhtin in their group on the VKontakte social network.
“The theater and film actor Alexander Alexandrovich Lipov died at the age of 83. He worked for more than twenty years at the Oryol Municipal Drama Theater “Russian Style” named following. MM. Bakhtin,” the post says.
Representatives of the theater noted that the artist died on September 29. The cause of death was not specified. The obituary states that Lipov was a graduate of the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography. He worked for Lenfilm for more than 35 years and was awarded the “Honorary Cinematographer of Russia” badge. The artist has served at the Russian Style Theater since 2000.
