For the eleventh year, the Society for Social Action and Culture Koino_Topia is testing its capabilities in the choral field. The creation of a choir by the members and friends of the organization 11 years ago with the purpose of the creative encounter of those who want to test their vocal skills in the melody of the musical scale and stave was established and the 11th period began.
The day for this year’s rehearsals is again Tuesday. Consistency and follow-up of meetings-exercises is a self-evident rule for those who would like to take part in the composition of the team and the joint effort.
The conductor of the choir for this season as well is the member of Koino_Topias Lina Geronikou, musician-vocalist. Responsible for coordinating the effort is Nikos Anastasopoulos with Irini Tzola as his deputy.

The choir (lat. chorus) is a musical group of singers. Choral music, in turn, is music performed by such an ensemble. A choir is headed by a choirmaster or (especially in Byzantine music) a choirmaster. The choir usually consists of four groups of voices, each of which corresponds to the four basic (in length) voices (soprano, contralto, tenor and bass), so that it can perform pieces based on four-part harmony – a dominant element of classical music .
